5th Grade Science
We will continue our unit of force, motion, and energy. Students will learn that energy occurs in many forms and will study the effect of forces on objects. Students will explore the uses of energy, including mechanical, light, thermal, electrical, and sound. Students will learn about circuits and light.
Students will continue working with the force and motion vocabulary. There are no new vocabulary words for this week. Students will explore force and motion through hands on lab stations this week. If you have not signed up for a conference with your homeroom teacher, please do so.
