5th Grade Science
Some students will be retaking the Math and Reading STAAR test on Monday and Tuesday. Those that are not retaking the test will continue to review Science to prepare for the Science STAAR test that all 5th grade students will be taking on Wednesday.
Please see below for some links to videos that students can watch to review for Science STAAR. They may also use the learning resources in Stemscopes to watch video and do virtual labs, and complete their study plan in Education Galaxy to prepare for the Science STAAR. Students will be learning about food chains and food webs. We will also begin our review for the Science STAAR test which will be on Wednesday, May 15th.
Students received homework on 3-13-19 to draw and label the moon phases from then until 4-20 and it is due Tuesday 4-23. Some have not turned this in as of yet. Students have weekly homework to complete on stemscopes. They also have time to work on it at school (before class, early finishers, and interventions). It is assigned at the beginning of the week and due Friday. Progress Reports will go home Thursday.
