I am so excited for the first day of school and getting to know my new 5th grade students and their families.
The first week of school, students will learn campus, classroom, and science expectations to be successful learners throughout the year. Students will be personalizing, setting up, and learning how to use their Interactive Science Notebooks. Monday is the Solar Eclipse. We will be watching a live stream of the eclipse in our classrooms and learning about the Solar Eclipse. Below are links that provide information about the eclipse. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1L6NZFdoLRs22KgTfs_5qpZ5gtNXXTcDTOkL2AnThJGQ/mobilebasic https://medium.com/inspired-ideas-prek-12/watch-teaching-students-about-the-2017-total-solar-eclipse-62f76f8a88d As we all get to know each other, please feel free to email me at [email protected] with anything you would like me to know about your child or any questions and concerns you may have. I will be happy to share it with the rest of your child's teachers if you would like. Email is the best way to reach me, but I will be happy to call you if you prefer, just email your phone number and I will call you as soon as possible. |
