5th Grade Science
Students will begin studying space. Students will be able to demonstrate that Earth rotates on its axis once every 24 hours causing day and night and the apparent movement of the sun across the sky. Students will review the moon phases and the order of the planets.
Students received homework on 3-13-19 to draw and label the moon phases from then until 4-20 and it i due Tuesday 4-23. Students have weekly homework to complete on stemscopes. It is assigned at the beginning of the week and due Friday. They will have a vocabulary test over the following words on Friday.
